Loinloom Festival in Bali

Bali is one of most pristine islands of Indonesia and the whole world knows about its magic. Bali is a place where traditional arts, handicrafts and textiles blend beautifully. 

The Loinloom festival will showcase the whole process of loinloom weaving, where various types of demonstrations from cotton ginning, to yarn making, dyeing, weaving and finishing will be demonstrated. It will have workshops and panel discussions, music and folk performances every evening. You can expect an intimate surrounding where the focus will on the loinloom or  backstrap weavers, artisans and the culture surrounding this beautiful craft. You will encounter loinloom weavers and thier weaving process from India, Laos and Myanmar.
